The brethren at Prince of Wales come from all walks of life. We are teachers, musicians, dentists,  entrepreneurs and our professions are as different and diverse as our cultural heritages. Yet, we all share one thing in common, we are all brothers. Whether you are new to Freemasonry and just want to know more or you are already a Mason who is simply looking for a welcoming lodge to affiliate with, it is our sincerest hope that you will be at home with us at Prince of Wales #630.

Why be a part of Prince of Wales lodge?
Choosing a Masonic lodge is a decision that should not be made lightly. While all A.F. & A.M. designated lodges follow the same laws and constitution, each is unique in its membership, culture and attitude. We at Prince of Wales lodge feel that we have a vibrant, enthusiastic mix of new and established brethren which can offer a great deal to a new candidate. Some of the main reasons to consider petitioning Prince of Wales include:

Diversity – we count men of many different faiths and cultures among our members. All are welcomed at Prince Of Wales, where we pride ourselves on our tolerance, diversity, and experience.

Friendship – we are friends inside the lodge and out. We meet often beyond our meetings for social get-togethers (coffee, dinners) and we make visits to other lodges on a regular basis.

Sense of Community - Masons refer to one-another as “brother”, and it is not an exaggeration. From those who have been members for only a few months to those who have received their 50-year recognition and beyond, all Masons in Prince Of Wales lodge are united in their mutual interest of Masonry and in the betterment of mankind.

Social Activities – Prince Of Wales both hosts and attends great social events within the Masonic community; bar-b-cues, silent auctions, and more are all opportunities to mingle with members and family.

Fundraising and Relief – contributing to the community is a cornerstone of our mission. If you are interested in donating your time and effort to great causes, you will find a welcome place in our lodge.

Rich Educational Opportunities – many of our members have gone on to pursue their Masonic education in appellant bodies such as the Knights Templar, the Scottish Rite, or the Shriners. If you are interested in learning about the breadth of Masonry, Prince Of Wales members have the experience to help with your education.

Esoteric Studies – our fraternity is rich with symbolism and allegory. Many of our members are enthusiastic about researching and studying this esoteric past and deciphering its influences on modern Masonry.

Life Skills – the lessons of Masonry can help increase your confidence, improve relationships, and make you a better man, husband, and father.

An Amazing Lodge Building – our lodge building is one of the most impressive and grand in all of Ontario, and possibly even in Canada itself. It is a fine setting for learning the valuable lessons and knowledge of Masonry.
